This has been a rough week for Belle to be alive. Let's review shall we?
1) She has had a few skin rashes that just pop up and go away within a couple hours. It doesn't seem to bother her much, but any rash has to bother you a little I think. Honestly I think she just has sensitive skin like her mama, but if it persists I'm sure a little doctor visit will be in order.
2) Our van broke down keeping us stuck at home for a couple days and canceling our vacation trip to Indiana.... so even though she had no idea what was going on, I'm sure she didn't like being cooped up in the house so much.
3) We have started the wonderfully heart wrenching journey of teething. It's been hard to watch her be in pain that sometimes just can't go away. The first day she let out her blood curdling screams out of nowhere, I cried. Thankfully the little teething tablets we got her have been helping some.
4) Due to teething and screaming and just being sad... her sleeping has been a little crazy - sleeping for hours some afternoons and then not being able to get to sleep on others because it hurts so bad.
Not everything has been horrible for her this week though!
As you can see from the picture, she's getting better and better at sitting on her own. A week ago she could hardly keep herself from face planting every time I sat her up. Now she can balance herself for a couple minutes before toppling backwards! We're both really proud of her! :)
So Mamas, any tips for a teething baby? I've got the Hyland's tablets and a couple teething toys for her to gnaw on, is there anything else that may help her out?
